Brian boitano 1988 olympics

Brian Boitano is an American figure skater who was the 1986 and 1988 World Champion. He also became the 1988 Olympic Champion and became the U.S. National Champion from 1985-1988.

Boitano is the originator of the Boitano triple lutz a move where the skater raises his left arm above his head while doing the jump.

He primarily used to be a jumper and with the help of other skaters, helped in the technical envelope of men's skating.

Brian Boitano was born Brian Anthony Boitano on October 22, 1963, in Mountain View, California.

He is the son of Donna Jean Boitano and Louis Boitano.

For his high school education, Boitano attended the Marian A. Peterson High School is located in Sunnyvale, California.

At the age of 15, he made a name for himself when he won the bronze medal at the 1978 World Junior Figure Skating championship.
